Printing and viewing digitalized photos
There are many ways to view and print your digital photos from basic 3x4 prints at your local film center to digital picture frames that rotate your images in a slide show fashion.
Most photo centers have self service stations where you can take your CD or other digital storage device to the station, pick the images you want printed, and send them to a photo worker for printing. Often times, your prints will be ready to pick up in an hour. Prices vary from center to center and some centers are higher quality than others, but this is a very affordable way of printing a few of your favorite shots for your own use or to send to friends and family.
There is a large selection of home photo printers on the market that will print fairly crisp, high quality prints, but the print is usually not as durable as a photo center print and can run if it gets wet or fade fairly quickly. When you add up the costs of the high quality photo paper, ink, and the printer itself, your home prints are probably going to be nearly as expensive as getting professional prints at a photo center.
With a copy of your images on a CD in JPEG format, you can view them in a variety of ways. Most DVD players will run slideshows from a CD and many digital picture frames are around that will hang on your wall and rotate pictures in addition to viewing them on your computer screen.
